Angel Neri Ramirez went home to be with his Lord surrounded by family on February 20, 2019 at the Age of 85. He was born November 26,1933 in Sanger California to Enrique and Grace Ramirez. He was married to Patricia “Patty”

(Annie) Ramirez for 58 years. Angel served in the US Navy aboard the USS Princeton as a Boatswain Mate during the Korean War. He was honorably awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the China Service Medal. After the Navy he attended Reedley College. Angel was a truck driver for over 40 years. During his trucking career he worked for Dooms, Sequoia Forest Industries, Center State Trucking and retired from Oldland trucking out of Oregon. When he wasn’t on the road, he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching football. Angel was very active with the Reedley Post 35 American Legion. Angel was preceded in death by his Sister Shelly Willeford, Brother Chuck Ramirez and Son Donnie Ramirez. He is survived by his wife Patty (Annie) Ramirez, His siblings, George (Marilyn) Ramirez of Washington, Amy Sanders of Corona, Alice Collier of Huntington Beach, Hank (Aurelia) Ramirez of Sanger, Grace (Dennis) Noah of Anaheim, Anna (Ray) Tinoco of Sanger and Bob (Beverly) Ramirez of Tennessee. His Son Ronnie Ramirez, Grandchildren: Rhoni (Brian) LaRue of Colorado and Michael Ramirez of Fresno. Great-Grandchildren: Barrett and Samantha. As well many wonderful nieces and nephews.
