Leda Jean Brogan York passed away on April 14, 2019 at the age of 88. She was born on October 7, 1930 to Leo and Iris Brogan in Kansas City, Kansas. Her family moved to Orange Cove, California where she met the love of her life, Gene Franklin York. Together they had three sons. She worked many years in the packing houses, eventually working at McCord School as a baker for twenty-five years before retiring. 

She is survived by her three sons – Leo (Susan), Carl (Belinda) and Dale (Belinda) York, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, one sister and two infant great-granddaughters.
