Luis Gonzales Sr.

A graveside service for Mr. Luis Gonzales Sr. of Sanger will be held at 10 a.m. on June 25 at Sanger Cemetery. It will be followed at 11:30 a.m. with a memorial service at the First Baptist Church of Clovis.

Mr. Gonzales, 70, died June 12, 2019. He was a firefighter with the State of California Dept. of Forestry.

He is survived by wife Maria Gonzales of Sanger; son Luis Gonzales Jr. and wife Tanya of Sanger; daughters Corina Ann Gonzales and Melissa Garcia and husband Mike of Fresno; and Marylou Chacon, and Michelle Moreno and husband Andrew of Sanger; brother Manuel Gonzales of Fresno; sisters Irma Garcia and Gloria Torres of Fresno and Maria Garza of Santa Anna; and 11 grandchildren.

Mr.  Gonzales was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Juanita Gonzales; two sisters; and a brother.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on June 24 at the funeral home.

Juan Jasso

A church service for Mr. Juan Enrique Jasso of Kingsburg will be held at 10 a.m. on June 24 at the Tabernacle of Praise in Sanger.

Mr. Jasso, 70, died June 12, 2019. He was retired veteran/businessman.

He is survived by son Ralph Enrique Jasso of Fresno; daughter Aislinn Jasso-Perez of Sanger; mother Placida Jasso of Sanger; three brothers; six sisters; and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Jasso was preceded in death by his wife Mary Montelongo-Jasso; son Johnny Seferino Jasso; father Seferino Jasso; and brother Fernando Jasso.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. on June 24 at the Tabernacle of Praise.

Erlinda Lara

The holy rosary will be recited for Mrs. Erlinda Lara of Sanger at 7 p.m. on June 20 at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home and a funeral mass for Mrs. Lara will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on June 21 at St. Mary's New Catholic Church in Sanger.

Mrs. Lara, 58, died June 14, 2019. She was a records manager for Moore Grider & Company.

She is survived by husband Ed Lara of Sanger; son David Garza of Shasta Lake; daughters Franchesca Silveira of San Jose, Karen Garza of Clovis and Stephanie Spielman of Chico; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Lara was preceded in death by her parents John Duenes Sr. and Mary Lou Duenes; and brother John Duenes Jr.

Remembrances may be made to Father Hannibal House, 1401 14th St., Sanger, CA 93657.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on June 20 at the funeral home.
